Trulicity (dulaglutide) is commonly used to help lower blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes.

Trulicity is used to lower the risk of cardiovascular events (heart attack, stroke, or death) in people who have type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

Trulicity may also be used for other conditions as determined by your healthcare provider.

How does Trulicity work (mechanism of action)?

Trulicity works to improve blood sugar in 3 different ways. It works to stimulate your pancreas to release more insulin after you eat, prevents your liver from releasing stored sugars, and slows down the movement of food through your body.

How is Trulicity supplied (dosage forms)?

Trulicity is available in the following dosage forms that are injected under the skin.

• 0.75 mg solution for injection, single-dose pens
• 1.5 mg solution for injection, single-dose pens
• 3 mg solution for injection, single-dose pens
• 4.5 mg solution for injection, single-dose pen
